Doppler Appointment

So we went for our appointment last week and got to hear the heartbeat via doppler. I really enjoyed it.  The heart rate was between 145-148. Clay got to go with me. It was pretty neat to hear. I tired to post the video but I am still not good at this blogging thing yet.Still a long time until we get to know if its a boy or girl. Until them Clay has decided to call it Sam.

Exciting news to share...

So we are expecting the first little Holmes in March of 2012. I am fourteen weeks along. We are very excited. We had our first ultrasound at the beginning of August and everything looked good. My next appointment is Monday. It will be a doppler so no baby pictures but I will get to hear the heart beat. I am very excited about it. Gender is still a long time away.End of October to be exact. I say boy and Clay says girl just because he says that's his luck. I think the next few months will fly by. Mom is coming up for a week in November to spend and do some shopping. Symptom wise I just need to eat small meals more frequently or the nausea sets in. And fatigue. I could sleep for the day no problem. Lets just say work has been interesting. I will try to post more often with details. It's still hard to grasp the fact that I am really having a baby. As soon as I learn this new tablet I will post pictures.

My recent hobby...

So I know it's been a while since I posted. I have been super busy with Dad and nothing exciting really going on. I, however, have been really into baking lately. It seens no matter how frustrated it get I still enjoy it and showing everyone my work. If money didn't matter I would love to work in a bakery and learn how to decorate...I enjoy cupcakes and cake pops or cake balls the most! Would love to own a bakery...ha!
